The challenge

Industrial operations generate complex wastewater streams carrying elevated organic load, suspended solids, oils, chemicals and variable pH. At the same time, freshwater is scarcer, discharge rules are tightening, and the pressure to reach zero-discharge performance keeps rising.

    Screening and settling removes coarse impurities and suspended solids, conditioning the stream for everything downstream.

    Oil & grease removal

    Free and emulsified oils, fats and greases are separated out of the industrial wastewater stream.

    Filtration & biological treatment

    Membrane filtration combined with biological and microbial processes strips the remaining contaminant load.

    Disinfection & polishing
